Our Story

The Birth of Serenity

Serenity Home-Based Caregivers & Nurses was founded from a deeply personal experience. When our founder's mother was diagnosed with dementia, she left her job to care for her full-time. That journey opened her eyes to the challenges families face when trying to find trustworthy, compassionate, and professional care for their loved ones.

Through that experience, she discovered her true passion: caring for people and making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Brian Mostert serves as Co-Director of Serenity Home-Based Caregivers, providing strategic leadership and overseeing the growth and operational excellence of the organization. His focus is on ensuring that every client receives reliable, compassionate, and professional care services while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accountability.

Peris Mostert

Co-Director · Caregiver & CNA (USA Trained)

Peris Mostert is Co-Director of Serenity Home-Based Caregivers and brings valuable healthcare knowledge and caregiving expertise to the organization. She has completed studies in Caregiving and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training in the United States, equipping her with practical skills and international exposure to patient-centered care. Her passion for supporting individuals and families drives Serenity's commitment to delivering compassionate, dignified, and professional care services across South Africa.
